The Acquisitions Department, located on the sixth floor of the
library, orders all materials for the library collection.
The Library Acquisitions area is firmly committed to acquiring
and maintaining the best collection for the curricular and research
needs of the University's students and staff. We recognize our
unique role in providing excellent informational resources for
Colorado State University - Pueblo.
Service Pledge
We pledge to:
- Submit for processing all requests within 7 working days of
receipt
- Convert requests to purchase orders within 3 weeks of receipt
- Have materials processed and ready for cataloging within 7
working days of receipt
- Respond to faculty inquiries within 24 hours
- Submit a list of new acquisitions to department library representatives
monthly
- Notify requestor of processed materials monthly
- Respond to "rush" requests on an individual basis
- Examine one academic department's subject area each semester,
and make recommendations concerning its quality
- Examine the condition of a section of the collection, weekly,
to determine the need to bind, repair or replace.
