This $24 million dollar renovation and expansion will dramatically transform the current library building into an inviting and usable 21st century library and academic support center. The concept is driven by the need to provide students and faculty with flexible space in which to work alone or in groups using state-of-the-art technology as well as traditional print resources. The space will also serve as an intellectual and cultural hub for the campus by including presentation and gallery spaces and a coffee shop. Students will have access to a number of support programs to help them be successful from day one through graduation, including:
- Library Research Support and Instruction Programs
- Course Reserves
- Online and traditional research materials
- Two floors of computers, scanners, and other equipment
- Wireless technology throughout the building
- Information Technology Services Help Desk
- Instructional Technology Center
- First-Year Programs and Advising
- Tutoring
- Writing Room
- Career Center
