Trial Databases
The CSU-Pueblo Library has trial access to the following databases. CSU-Pueblo faculty, staff, and students are invited
to use these resources during the trial period listed and submit an evaluation of the database(s) using the email link below.
The evaluation can include its accessibility, user interface, and relevance to curriculum and research. We welcome your comments!
- Encyclopedia Britannica
- Available until August 5th.*
- Enciclopedia Universal en Español
- Includes Gran Enciclopedia Planeta, "the most comprehensive Spanish language encyclopedia available today...145,000 articles plus timelines, an atlas, and a dictionary," and Enciclopedia Juvenil, "a Spanish elementary encyclopedia, images, videos, and Spanish language learning materials specifically designed for younger learners." - America's Historical Newspapers, Broadsides, and Ephemera
- Newspapers This growing collection of fully searchable historical American and Hispanic American newspapers is the most extensive resource of its kind. With nearly 2,000 titles from all 50 states, America’s Historical Newspapers provides an unparalleled record of the topics, people, issues and events that have shaped America for nearly three centuries. Available until August 8th.*
- Broadsides & Ephemera Based on the American Antiquarian Society’s landmark collection of American broadsides and ephemera, this full-color digital edition offers fully searchable facsimile images of approximately 15,000 broadsides printed between 1820 and 1900 and 15,000 pieces of ephemera printed between 1760 and 1900. Available until August 8th.*
- Credo Reference
- Formerly XRefer, a collection of reference titles from publishers including
ABC-CLIO, Routledge, Harvard University Press, NYU Press, Cambridge, Greenwood, ALA Editions. Available from on campus until July 29th.*
- Tales Online
- Approximately 2000 international folktales. Subscription pending.*
- ISI Web of Science
- Contains fulltext backfiles of the following databases:
- BIOSIS Previews®: 1969-present
- Medline®: 1950-present
- Web of Science®: Science Citation Index Expandedä, 1975-present
- Social Sciences Citation Index,1975-present
- Arts & Humanities Citation Index, 1975-present
